Turkish architect Cüneyt Darı received the International A’ Design Award with his hotel project for young people and their families.
Turkish architect Cüneyt Darı was deemed worthy of the International A’ Design Award.
At the International A’ Design Competition held in Italy, architect Darı received an award in the “Architecture, Construction and Building Design” category with his “Selectum Dreams Hotel” project to be built in Belek, Antalya.
Making a statement to the AA correspondent, Darı said that they aimed to enable children to spend quality time with their families in their award-winning project.
Darı explained that they created the project by traveling extensively to many parts of the world. Stating that the project consists of three main themes, Darı noted that the first theme is for adults, the second is for children, and the third theme is for young people between the ages of 15-18 and their families.
Darı emphasized that they aim to increase the self-confidence of young people with the various training programs they will offer at the hotel.
Noting that young people can attend various trainings such as Spanish lessons and water ballet at the hotel, Darı said, “An author who will be invited every week will stay there for a week and come together with the young people. Opera singers will give a concert for a week, including the young people. The aim is to provide children with self-confidence.” .” said.
Millet emphasized that they want to keep young people away from bad habits by socializing young people and their families with such programs.
Pointing out that the project is different from the classical hotel concept, Darı stated that they tried to give priority to the ecological structure and designed an environmentally friendly project.
Darı said, “This project has an organic structure in its entirety. The kitchen is completely open, you can see and eat your meals.” said.
Darı expressed his satisfaction in receiving an award in a competition held worldwide and in which designers from many countries participated, and pointed out that their project was unique in the world.
Darı added that the secret of their success is working with a strong and young team that has accomplished many projects so far.
